Jeff is Managing Partner. Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Casherie is a Founding Partner. Clinical Mental Health Counselor.

Jeff and Casherie officially formed Utah NeuroTherapy Center in 2009 and started serving people with mental health needs in 2010. Read more about Jeff’s story here.

When the business was formed, the Brights wanted to provide thorough wellness services by individualizing and personalizing it to the community. They strayed away from the traditional ideas to “just” help people; instead they wanted to individualize services to optimize effective treatment.

Jeff says, “It’s all about helping people to flourish in their overall well-being.  We start where the person is and provide support and then stimulate change through evidence and researched brain-based treatment. We believe in individualizing the service to meet the person’s need.”

In 2013, Jeff received a national board certification in Neurofeedback training and became a master trainer in neuro-linguistic programming, the company was rebranded as Bright Counseling, to include mind and body techniques and to be inclusive to all people living in Utah and Maryland.

Bright Counseling continues to support the community in various community service projects and through charitable donations. Jeff and Casherie enjoy volunteering in the community with the American Red Cross and attending fundraisers to support disaster relief services and mentoring for children. Learn more about how we give back to the community, by clicking here.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Jeff has presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of neurofeedback, mindfulness, and trauma treatment.
